Walk the Wall is the name given to a group of people who have been raising money for Cancer Research UK since 1999. It takes its name from its first project – a three-day 75 mile walk along the length of Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland and Cumbria.
It was started by Doug & Graeme Reavley and Neil Stewart after they had lost close friends and family to cancer. Joined by 10 friends, they started a journey that still goes on today…..
Walking every 2 years, the group has covered 13,600 miles [between it’s members] and raised £170,000.
And now the group has walked to Wark, and waits to see how much it’s raised……See the Walk 2016 page for links to photos!
